When i wanted to restart my computer it suddenly say "INSERT SYSTEM DISK THEN ENTER"..Then i only keep clicking on ENTER..but nothing happen..I try to put the WIN98SE recovery disk then it ask me to choose "Full Recovery", "Partial Recovery", "System Utilities"...I did not choose any of the option, because i does not want to delete any of my files in my hard disk..
Is there any way i cannot solve the problem without deleting any of my files?

What is the make and model of your system?? Did you check the user manual for your computer and see what each Restore/Recovery Option gave you??

Well, your best bet right now may be slaving your hdd to another system and copying your files to that computer..
Then, use the "System Restore" cd to re-install Windows on your drive and move the files back after..
Or, go to the IBL website.. they should have your manual there in .pdf format.. Check it and see just what each of those options do..

I have an aptiva diagnostics cd(I don't have an aptiva but a friend of mine did and she needed a file off of it put on a floppy). Put yours in a working pc and if it opens just close it then go to my control panel right click on the drive your cd is in and click on explore----you should see a folder called diagnost---click on the + sign and it will open on the right side---look for a folder called helpro(open in word pad)---in there it will tell you what every tool on that cd does, but using any of the above I wouldn't think would wipe out your files. I think if it was me I'd go with the system utilities and let it check your pc out. Again your help file on the cd will tell you what each utility does if it doesn't tell you that when you click on system utilities.
Also yours might be more like this Aptiva Helper (http://www.cs.unc.edu/~haynes/helper/toph.htm)
This was added later to the newer Aptivas Restoring (http://members.aol.com/donnaskani/newrestore.html)

Use the cd you have and see if it has a diagnostics program on it.. If it does, run that and see if the hdd is still working (could be under the System Utilities option)..
Otherwise, you are going to need a second computer to slave your harddrive to.. Preferably, belonging to someone that has done it before..

Try your dianostic tools on your CD first.
Slave means you have to get another hard drive and copy your files from your master drive to it(the slave).

I choose the system utilities option and it got many options i don't know which one to choose...It got Diagnostic It got --> Run Normal test(Passed), Run Quick test, CPU, System board, video adapter, memory test - Full (Passed)....Utility It got --> Run External Tests, Harddrive surface scan(No drive found), Benchmark system...Hardware Info It got --> System Configuration, memory contents, IRQ & DMA use, device drive, COM & LPT port, phyiscal & logical disk drive,i/o use, IDE info....
My cpu alway got sound coming out, Then what does Primary IDE master - No drive and Primary IDE Slave - No drive mean?

It means either a: you have a bad IDE cable connecting the hdd to the motherboard or, b: a bad motherboard..
Did you take anything apart or unhook anything inside the case earlier??

Replace the cable.. or, first try booting into BIOS (setup) and make sure everything is being detected properly..
