Mozilla - question about email formatting
I'm very new to this Mozilla, but slowly learning a few things. Anyway, I've set it to be my default mail now. When I go to send, it asks me whether I want to send in plain text or HTML, and I've been clicking HTML. Their email has smileys you can use, sort of like Yahoo and MSN smileys built in. My question is, is it okay to always put "use HTML?" For instance, I have a friend, who whenever in the past I've used stationery or smileys, anything like that, this person's mail program accepts it as attachments, which she hates. In another words, it doesn't just show up like in Outlook Express or other programs. I noticed this filter or setting in Mozilla where you can set a certain domain to just get messages as plain text...if I set my friend's like that, then when I send smileys or stationery, will they just not show up at all? When I mail this person I usually copy another person who does receive everything like smileys and stationery, and I'd like them to show for that person but not for my other friend!
Geeezzz...convoluted enough? Thanks if anyone can help. |

When you create an address book entry (or "card") it gives you the option to specify whether to use HTML or plain text when sending to that person
![]() As to what they'll see, I guess it will just be like pasting the lot into Notepad.

Thanks for your reply, Steven. I went to my cards and saw how to edit them. Meanwhile, since asking the question, I've discovered (I think!) that the smileys only show up for me, not in other people's mail....they just turn into the appropriate
! Hehe. Thanks again.
