:D Howdy, Nick! That was a sample of a guy's licks that I cut my teeth on drums years ago, playing with his music. Sandy Nelson. I practically learned my licks on drums playing along with his! He's one of my favorite drummers. I'm thinking about getting some of his CD's, and own a whole bunch of his LP's from years ago.

Sounds alot like some old Buddy Rich licks. I have some Buddy Rich mp3's that I ripped from cd's I own and man that guy could swing the sticks.

Oh man! Buddy could out do Nelson or as about the same as! I remember seeing Buddy on The Tonight Show lots of times. He kept me spellbound! For sure, Buddy was one hot timber swinger! ;)
