On the news tonight there was a story of a pig farmer using a propane cannon that would fire every 20 minutes 24hours a day. She used it to scare off birds and rats away from her pig feed. Apparently a lot of residents were complaining but the city couldn't do anything because she ws technically out of the city limits.... It took a news story for her to agree to shut it off. and now the city is going to help her figure out how to get rid of the birds and rats. Now I bet that would never happen in San Francisco!

well, buzz..in fairness to san fran..who'd notice??? hahahaha ( my town is smaller I bet..pop.300) but we do have a post office & i recieved a letter once addressed w/ nothing but my first name & a rural rte. number...the post office went thru all the "marys" on the mail route, it kept getting passed until it made it to me..i was impressed.. http://www.cybertechhelp.com/ubb/smile.gif

Well here is a link for ya that tells what kind of mentality is in my home town.Luckily I live just outside their city limits,so their rules and regs don't effect me.This BB was shut down months ago by the council members of the town.The strange thing is Two of the CMS always used to post in it.BTW-I never ever posted in it!...Its good for a laugh. http://www.cybertechhelp.com/ubb/smile.gif

I don't understand how the city council could shut it down? Was it run by the city? I'm not surprised though. The town members here (i also live outside the town limits) wouldn't "allow" mtv on the local cable co...Which i still don't understand...How can they do that? Whos business is it what anyone watches in their own home? And mtv? But they let kids watch then news.....:lol

lafave,you'd surprised by the things <---I put that nicely...those jokers have done in the past ten years.When there council seat expires...the replacement seems to always be a friend,and the one that left all of a sudden has a vast amount of properties.Thats just one example...
