At Christmas, we often have ham, but it varies quite a bit within different familes and regions of the US.

Bad dose of "clocks going back" syndrome? I usually get man-flu when this happens, but managed to dodge it this year ;)

Thank God for cough drops
I had that once when I was in school.
The nurse told me to go and stand in the corner until I'd calmed down.

According to all the women I know, it's similar to a common cold, but "you blokes go on as if you are the only people in the world who have had a cold, and whilst we women are expected to cook, clean and sort the kids out as we've only got a sniffle, you blokes have to lay on the sofa wrapped in a duvet watching TV and complaining loudly that you are dying".
Allegedly.

I get man flu too... it's far worse than woman flu.
And apparently on an odd occasion when I am told to hoover the lounge carpet... I do a "man hoover".. which entails hoovering around objects such as sofas etc. Why move them? No-one looks under there...... do they?? Jeeez!!
