Hello Fella's

I've got a mac 350pro speed, os 9.1

The issue here is (i am slowly slugging my way into macs, therefore hence not much knowledge)

My Building is running on a simplex network, (simple, just all connected with a net hub)

and I have recently acquired a mac, neat as stuff, but i plug the network cable in, and i go into tcp/ip settings and insert my DHCP information.

I insert the info, and i still can't get wired. Any advise, send it my way, Much Apreciated>

Could be bad network card.Do you get a link light?
You are sure network settings are correct?
Could be bad ethernet cable.
Normally macs are easy to connect to network..

If your DHCP settings are correct, I would also start examining cables and hardware.

are you using a straight cable with a router?

Is your router configured correctly?

What router?
