Printer Sharing

Ok.... I need a simple explaination on the procedure to have my printer work on both of my PC's that are networked together using a Linksys. router. Both the main PC and client PC are running WinXp. The way it's explained in the setup wizards and Windows Help isn't real clear to me. Aside from everything else they instruct you to do, should the printer software be installed on both PC's or just the main PC? I need a simple step by step procedure. [i][color=seagreen]

How is the printer setup? Is it connected to the router or a local pc?

If it is connected to a PC then isntall the software/Drivers on that PC.
Then go to Control Panel > Double Click Printers/Faxes
Then Right click > Properties
Select Sharing... Select a sharing name. Hit Apply

Go to second computer and look for it under My Network Places connect to it make it your default and you should be able to print to it.

I am not completely sure but i think you also have the comptuer to which the printer is connected to, turned on when you want to print from the other computer.
