I have an iMac G5 running OS X 10.3.9 and connect to the internet wirelessly via Airport.

When I start up the iMac, sometimes the pointer turns into the spinning disk and the information icons and menulets appear, before the Finder menu bar appears. If this happens, I can't connect to the internet.

To get things working, I have to shutdown and restart. If the menu bar appears first, before the information icons and menulets, I can connect to the internet.

I've tried clearing the DRAM (or whatever its called) to no effect.

Any suggestions? I'd appreciate your help.
