wmii

I'm posting a little info about a window manager I've been using a bit for *nix. Its called wmii, and is similar to some of the more lightweight wm's such as blackbox and fluxbox, but at the same time its nothing like them. One feature I particularly love is you don't need a mouse to use it, so needless to say I've been using it on my laptop quite frequently. The wmii menu is opened using ctrl+alt+a, and a program launcher is opened using ctrl+alt+p. When the program launcher is opened, as you type it will show you each matching command (ie: typing 'gim' will show you every program installed starting with the letters 'gim'). Its quite handy, imo.

Check out some of the screenshots here. I've got one of my own up as well.

At just under 130k, its definitely worth installing and trying out.

Sounds interesting. I am going to download it now and see how it works. I will post my experiences with it after using it a bit.
