Can anyone help me with Realplayer error: "Explorer has caused an error in/at WINDIVX.AX. Explorer will now close. If you experience further problems, try restarting your machine." and This Error right after "Realplay has caused an error in RPCT3260.DLL. Realplay will now close."

I also get this blue screen that pops up every now and again.
"An exception 0E has occurred at 0028:c2a1b2A9 In VXD Lne100v4(01) + 00001649. This was called from 0028-c001d218 in VXD NDIS (01) + 00005b30. It may be possible to continue normally."

When I restart my PC everything seems fine. If anyone can explain and help me figure this out I would appreciate it, Thanks.

Also My Microsoft Precision 2 Joystick is not working. It worked for about 2-3 weeks than cut out. Tried different drivers looked on Microsoft Site. Just got tired of trying and bought the Saitek ST220 Digital Joystick it works, not as good as the Ms Precision 2 Pro did, but at least I can play Flight Sims. If anyone can help with this also I would appreciate it, Thanks.

My PC Specs: AMD Athalon 1.6ghz,2 HHD (C: is 14.7 GB and D: is 80 GB), 1 Memorex 36X CD-Rom Drvie, 1 Philips 20X Cd-RW Drive, Video card is a Creative Voodoo Banshee, Sound card is a Creative SB Live! Value, 256 MB Ram, Lynksys Nic ver. 4, Cable Modem through ISP, US Robotic 56K Modem (not using), Creative WebCam Go Es, Creative 5.1 Sperakers, 1 USB 4 Port Hub, 1 Microsoft USB SideWinder Game Pad Pro, 1 Microsoft USB Precision 2 Joystick, 1 Saitek USB ST220 Digital Joystick.

Hi Riqi Maru,

Sorry nobody has had an answer to your previous post. I have bumped it back to the top of the list. In the future, if your question doesn't get a response after a day or two...or is about to drop off the bottom of the first page, you can get it back to the top by doing what I did...which is post to it. It works better than starting another thread. ;)

Thanks :)

ou can do two things here. First, you could uninstall and then reinstall real player and see if that fixes it, or second, you can reinstall your DIVX codecs.

This means that there was a problem with your network driver. It may have been a one-time problem so rebooting (cold boot!!!) should solve it. However, the driver may well be corrupted so you need to remove all network drivers and reinstall them in order to get a fresh copy onto the system. To be sure, you should remove the drivers using desktop->networking(right click)->properties and delete using the following order:
1) remove sharing (printer \ files)
2) remove protocols (NetBUI, IPX, TCP\IP)
3) remove network adapters
4) remove network clients
5) remove all remaining items (if any, no particular order required here)

After that you must exit the dialog and it will want to reboot. Let it do that and do wait for it (may take several minutes, so be patient). After that, reinstall your network adapters and (after reboot) the protocols, etc.. This should correct the problem. However, if it does not, you might have a problem with the NIC itself (it may be defective or not properly inserted (re-inserting might help)); there might be a problem with your windows installation as well so if all that fails you may need to delete and reinstall (maybe just reinstall works in case the registry and the config files are not faulty) Windows completely.

As far as your joystick, I have not a clue. :(
