How's this sound?

I'm tinkering with my network a bit here and as I use Windows and Linux together alot of the time I was thinking of setting up something on my linux box:

samba+openldap network using pgina on windows

pgina will roam your profiles to an FTP server, that way you don't have to use stupid windows roaming profiles. Does that sound like a good idea to you guys?

It sounds like it would be fun to try.
