Ok my computer has a long history. Basically it has had a few major components replaced (i.e motherboard) last month.
Windows didn't like this much so I re-installed windows to solve the problems I was having.
Everthing is working fine now exept I am ocasionally getting blue screens with error messages. They don't say what is causing the error but they do give a number.
One number I have noted has appeared a few times.
OE : 0028 : 47737361
I did have new ram fitted, but that also was before I re-installed windows.
I ran a few searches at the microsoft site but found no help there.
Thanks in advance:)
Heres my system specs
compaq presario 5116EA
192 MB sdram
20 gig harddrive
windows me
has NAV 2001 antivirus
a hercules sound card (using that instead of one built in to motherboard)
800Mhz celeron processor
not a huge amount of programs to cause conflicts

Sorry...all I have for this one so far is a shotgun approach with this link:

http://www.infinisource.com/techfiles/fatal-0e-errors.html

Is that the whole error message? Seems like it is missing some stuff.

It looks like you are getting Fatal 0E error messages. Fatal exception error messages are codes that are returned by a program in the following situations:
If access to an illegal instruction has been encountered
If invalid data or code has been accessed.
If the privilege level of an operation is invalid.
When any of these situations occur, the processor returns an exception to the operating system, which in turn is handled as a fatal exception error message. In many situations, the exception is non- recoverable and you must either shut down or restart the computer, depending on the severity of the error.

A Fatal Exception 0E is a Page Fault interrupt and typically occurs when the operating system tries to access virtual memory on a demand-paged basis and that "page" is missing or damaged.

There are a few things you could try to do to better your situation. Install and run Lavasofts Ad-Aware to detect and remove spyware which runs in the background and causes many conflicts.
Ad Aware (http://www.lavasoft.de/)

Click Start
Select Run
Type msconfig in the text box
The "System Configuration Utility" window will open

After opening the MSCONFIG program, you can click on the Startup tab located at the top right of the window. Clicking Startup changes the window showing you all the programs that are capable of being executed during the windows boot process

+ Clicking on the check box in front of the program enables that program so it automatically loads during boot.
+ Un-checking the box (so it is blank) removes that program from the startup sequence so it does not load automatically.

Leave these checked:
+ScanRegistry
+SysTray
+Your Antivirus
+Your firewall if you use one

+ Unselect all of the rest
+ When you finish with the changes click the OK button to close the window
+ Reboot
