System Restore
Hey... i was wondering.. what exactly does the system restore feature do? Restores it to the point i set it at? (which was 2 months ago, deleting everything i installed since then?)
And can it be reverted back to my present state? (sorry if i sound like a newb  )

Hi slurpee222 - System Restore automatically creates restore points in addition to any manual restore points that you have created. If you were to roll back your system by 2 months, programs installed after that time would not be deleted but you would lose the links to them so they would have to be reinstalled. However, it is more likely that a restore point going that far back will have been purged by now. More information here
