hi. i have realplayer10 installed, but when i click to listen to an audio clip (e.g. on Amazon) i am taken to the 'recently added' folder of i-Tunes. there is no corresponding file loaded there. i've opened realplayer, and there's nothing there either. any idea how to fix this please.

Weird. I would get iTunes from the apple website. iTunes can convert audio files for free, you can get music from the music store, and iTunes is reliable.

If you would like to get iTunes, click on the link below.
iTunes 6.0.1 (http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/)

The following is from Real Player help.

How do I make RealPlayer for Mac OS X my default media player?

When you install RealPlayer for Mac OS X, you are prompted to decide which types of files you want to open with it. RealPlayer becomes the default media player for the file types you choose to associate with it.
If you install another media program after installing RealPlayer, some of these file types may be associated with the new program.
To reassign these file types to RealPlayer:
Open RealPlayer for Mac OS X, click the RealPlayer menu, and choose Preferences. The Preferences box opens.
Select the Media Types category.
Select the file types you want RealPlayer to play by default, and then click Save Media Types. The changes will take affect after you restart RealPlayer.
If you are still experiencing problems, Safari may be overriding your choices. To reassign file-types for Safari:
Find one of the downloaded files in the Finder.
Hold the control key down and click on the file.
Select Get Info from the file's menu.
In the Open With area of the file's Info window, choose RealPlayer as the application.
Click Change All.
