Using Windows ME on a HP machine. For some reason,, in certain places, fonts appear as 0000's.
Some of the places are: - On "Windows Update" screen header - MS Streets and trips directions printouts (but only on my Epson Photo 1280, not on my HP 5L - Start up splash screen of Pagemaker 6.5 I tried to reinstall ME and it would not save my system files and aborted. Not sure if this is related. Everything else is great. Any ideas. Thanks in advance, Jeffrey |

Try updating your printer drivers and see if that fixes the issue.

Thanks for the reply. I did update the driver yesterday with no luck. I think I might try to uninstall the printer and see if that helps.
Thanks again, Jeffrey |

No, I removed the printer and still the same.
Changed any font setting I could find also with no luck. Started up Windows in safe mode, thinking it might be a software conflict, still the same. Any other ideas anyone?? Thanks, Jeffrey |
