I give up, for some reason it just stopped sending. No changes or updates to Kmail. I have several pop3 accounts and none of them are sending. Using Suse 9.3. Its been like this for about a month. Finally had time to sit down and try to fix it. Have absolutely no problems with receiving.

Is the smtp information correct? Has it changed? Does it work with any other programs such as evolution or thunderbird?

I have about 4 pop3 each with a different smtp. All of them worked now none do. Do not have any other mail client intalled at this time.
