I was wondering, how do you create your own email with your own domain for free? For example, if I wanted to create darthmike666@computerhelpforum.com as my email address, how would i do so? Using my own personal domain name. Thanks in advance!

You need a Webhost or Email Server to bind to the domain name so that you can send and recieve messages.

You best bet is to sign up for hosting.

You can get free email servers. You would have to purchase a domain name and have a server running.

Could end up costing you more ;)

lol, okay I'm a bit confused now. So if I wanted my own FREE personal email address and FREE domain, such as darthmike666@darthmike666.com, what exactly do I have to do?

You need to purchase your domain name first.

If you then only want an alias or forwarding service then you can use ZoneEdit to have your mail forwarded to another email account.

Are you willing to set up your own server? Even a budget PC could be used for this task, it just needs to be a)always on and b)have a constant, reliable internet connection (ie. broadband is a must). You can get free domain names from No-IP (http://www.no-ip.com) (yourname.no-ip.org + others) or DynDNS (http://www.dyndns.com) (yourname.dyndns.org + others). You can get a free, easy to use email server from Desknow (http://www.desknow.com/desknowmc/downloads.html) (I use it myself).

The only other option is to pay.

If you want a domain such as @darthmike666.com then you will have to purchase that domain name whatever method you choose to use.

Once you have the domain name you can use a free redirection service, but if you want a mailbox then you will have to purchase hosting or setup your own server.

I doub't you'll get a free .com unless it is a subdomain (yourname.no-ip.org)

Some hosting companies offer free domain names if you signup for hosting with them.
