I installed ME on a brand new hard drive and now I can't connect to the interent via my cable modem. In the device manager I see a ? on "other devices". "pci communication device","pci internet controller" and "usb device" 2x- I have all of the DEll installation discs but I don't know where to start. The computer is a Dell 86R desktop.
Any help would be greatly appreiated TIA.

In the device manager, right click on the first device with the yellow splat(!), choose "update driver" when it asked from where, point Windows to the CD-ROM drive. One of your Dell disks will have the drivers on it. The disk could say "utility" or something similair. Make sure that's the disk in the CD-ROM drive. Let Windows search the disk and find the correct driver. Then you'll be prompted to install that driver. After you have installed all necessary drivers and removed all yellow splats (!) check your connection. If still not able to connect I would contact my ISP for further assistance.
