security issues associated with scripting languages

hey there everyone hope u can help me here. i am writing a college report and i have scoured the internet all week long and could find any information on "security issues associated with scripting languages" any help as soon as possible will be a great help. even if u can just send me in the direction of a website that has the information i will be forever thankfull

well i would think that it would be about browsers as the class that the report is for is "developing the WWW" other things in the report that i had to mention were DOM, Client side-scripting versus server side-scripting, and "plug-ins" in relation to their role in the development of the web. i hope that will help u help me. thanx for such a quick reply
