Macromedia Flash player crashes IE V6.0

Hi there,

I am running Windows 98, and use IE Version 6.0. Recently IE started crashing, and the only way I could get it to stop was to delete the Macromedia Flash player.

I'm guessing I must have inadvertently downloaded an incompatible Flash Player update. It seems to works fine without, only I can't see view anything needing the Flash player.

I've tried deleting and reloading it several times, but it then starts crashing again. Does anyone know a solution that a very technically inept person such as myself could handle?

Thank you
Linny
