MSN 'Hangs'

I don't know if hanging is the right word for it, but basically when I sign into MSN, the top bar where File etc are, goes white and it freezes for a few seconds.

I was wondering why this could be? I've reinstalled it, but it still does it :sad:

Any help would be appreciated.
