Netmeeting Settings Problem Help!!!

Hey all,

I am using Netmeeting in Windows XP and I entered the directory I need and it says

The network directory could not be found

You may not be connected to the network, or you have mistyped the server name ( all of which I have done right )

To change your server, in netmeeting, click options in the tools menu, and select the general tab!

I am confused!

I need to get this fixed!

Thanks,

Compu02

You've entered a place I've never been. I am going to send this one to the Networking forum where you should be able to get better help.

This is the problem with posting multiple posts with the same question. I just answered your thread
in the Applications forum and then I see this post.

How is a tech suppose to follow you around the board and view all your posts on the same question?
Posting multiple times, the same question, makes a simple thing like answering your question a large
labor task.

Go over there and read that one or maybe a mod can merge the two questions (if two are all you posted).
Either way I'll wait till this "spread-out" question settles into one thread before answering any of these
threads you posted Compu02.

Also as a side note...while its good to help or answer a question what good does it do to carry that out in a email or pm? These threads are searchable so if anyone looking for help on the same topic reads a post but at the end it just says "email me" how do they get any help from that. Post fixes in the forum that is why its here.

Not to mention posting your email address in a public forum will feed the spammer's email harvester
and you can enjoy tons more spam on that account.

Ditto to what bAdWaYz has said, and also don't pull members away from the board...all probs are
fixed here where all can benefit. If your lucky jhony4k a mod will remove your email address and
save you from the spammer's harvester...or you can remove it yourself.
