phone scam!!!

This only applies to peeps in the uk.We got a memo at work today from our local police, who said that a scam is rife in the uk at the moment. What happens is that you receive a call at home from someone from the phone company who says they are testing the lines, and can yo press 90#. They then tell you everythings ok and wait for you to hang up. What happens then, is your line is still open and they are making calls to chatlines and international calls. You won`t know till you get your next bill.The police also said that the scam is being operated from prisons throughout the uk. Be Warned
