Hi,
Why bother with a copy of MMJB when it's a free download?
Anyway, as for my opinion, I didn't like it much. However, my mate swears by it. As with any programme, what suits one person, doesn't suit all. Try it and see if you get on with it.
I would never recommend any P2P as you're just asking for trouble (Spyware, Virii and Trojans) to name but a few.

I prefer Winamp (http://www.winamp.com) as an audio player. It's less bloaty than many others, and seems to have a good feature set, user base, and many good plugins. Shareaza (http://shareaza.sourceforge.net/) is a good P2P client, it has it's own P2P network and connects to eDonkey, and can also handle BitTorrent or HTTP/FTP (ie. 'normal') downloads.
