Cannot "View Source" all of the sudden

Any clues as to why and how I fix this problem?

1. can you right click?
2. Try going to view> view page source
3. try the following:
Go to
Tools>Internet options
click the programs tab.
For html editor try chooseing notepad

Two things to try...

Empty your temporary internet files. Sometimes when this folder gets filled up, you will see strange browser behavior. I have had the view source problem before and this always solved it for me.

If that doesn't get you there....try the internet explorer repair tool.

If neither work...give us some more information like browser version, recent installs, when did it start happening, etc.

Not sure what happened but it's fixed. I couldn't even delete my temporary files, it wasn't responding. I fiddled with trying to crtl, alt, del, and finally got out of it as it was sitting in limbo. Now I can view source.

Sounds like your browser had a hiccup of some kind. Glad it is working now, but keep an eye on it for any further trouble. ;)
