i am connected to internet but can't brows any website or messeger

hi.i am connected to the intrnet but i can't brows any website.or log in to any messegers.its same like not connected but when i saw the icon show internet is connected.why is that.but if i use any other pc i can use my internet as usual .what's the problem.pls help me./

Have you tried different browsers?
Can you ping websites?

still da same.no change.its still the same.i can't even log on to any messegers to.iam using IE.still the same.what u mean by ping website.i dunno.when i am connected to internet when i start use it its same like i am not connected to the net.eror"page cannot be displayed.when i connected to icq its says please cheak ur internet connection.than if ym its not even sign in.what to do.

To ping open a command prompt from the start menu

or goto Start>Run> and type
cmd


to ping type
ping google.com
then press return.

You should get results in miliseconds. If you get other messages then you have problems.

Also check your IP address by typing
IPCONFIG

yes.there is another messege said can't ping the website.my server ip is ok.i got the result.another one when i try to look at the dial up modem properties under connection tab i got a messege said ur wmi might be currupted .u need to restore in advance tab.but when i restore my pc its shows restoration incomplete.what to do.i think my problem will be solved if i know how to make the restore point work.every time i try to restore the pc i got same messege restoration incomplete.what to do.
