I want to watch videos that are .AVI files. But Windows Media Player won't play them! THis message comes: "Windows Media Player cannot play the file. The file is either corrupt or the Player does not support the format you are trying to play."
I also tried Real Player and Quick Time. None of my media players will work. Does anyone know how I can make the AVI videos work?
Thank you so much!!

(is this in the right forum?)

download a tool called g-spot (yes it exists) lmao....run it on the file you are trying to play it will tell you what codec you need to install.

I downloaded DivX, but it didn't make any difference. :( Where can I get the g-spot (!!) thing? And when I do have a codec, what is it and how do I make it work?
