pc on point

while surfing the net looking for interesting things i came across PC point free on line scan type thing. after scanning my system it reported 626 errors in my registry.
however it would only repair 45 of them. is this just a ploy to make you buy the software i wonder and why didn't Norton utilities pick up these errors.
would be great to have some comments

I've never tried pc on point myself but it sounds like all the others around that tell you that you have hundreds of faults but nevermind they can fix it for you ....at a price.
There are other free programs around that will most probably do the same job.
For example; ccleaner - from; http://www.ccleaner.com/
