Cool installing more ram

i have a hp8800 and i want to install more ram , i have 64mb pc100 sdram , can pc100sdram made by different manufactures fit straight in

Well it is not a laptop right? IF so yes they all pc100 ram sticks should fit right into the ram slot. You may have to aplly some pressure to get it in good but it should work.

Enat is quite correct about the RAM fitting your board, but be aware that on occasion a puter will choke on disimilar RAM. I have an HP and it refuses to accept certain combinations of manufacturer RAM (not all HPs are the same) and won't boot. I finally settled on two sticks of identical Crucial...

Be sure to keep your reciept just in case it doesn't work.
