Can I have cable internet on Windows 2000????
If so can someone help me with setting it up???

Sure you can use cable internet with Windows 2k. Just plug the ethernet cable from your cable modem into the rj45 jack on back of your computer "network card" and you should be good to go. If there is something more detailed you want to know post back with a question and we can take it from there.

But when I click Internet Explorer it says Work Offline etc.

Have you set up the internet connection yet? Under your network properties do you have tcp/ip and clent for microsoft networks installed? If you look in device manager for your network adapter do you see a red ! or ? beside it? Go to start/run type cmd hit enter at the command promt type ipconfig /all and post what it says in here.

i should of did this a while ago...well nwo it is getting Pro on it i think it should run it okay...i just built it for my sis with some spare parts...
