Hi,

I don't really know anything about computers but my start down the bottom has gone along with that whole line, I'm not sure if you know what I'm talking about. Anyway, does anyone know how to get it back? I can't get into stuff that isn't on my desktop now.

Cheers

Hi, what you have to do is get the Taskbar back into view by pressing the Ctrl and the Esc keys at once. This brings up the Start Menu. You can then press the Esc key by itself to close the Start Menu, but the Taskbar should still be visible. Now it should be possible to use your mouse to resize the Taskbar. Or, if you press the Alt key and space bar at the same time, you get the Taskbar sytem menu. You can select Size by typing the letter S; you will see a cross formation of two doubly-pointing arrows, one pointing left and right, the other pointing up and down. Then use the Up arrow key in order to make the Taskbar larger. When you press the Enter key again, you will now have your Taskbar back in view. Good luck!

If lasherman's suggestion doesn't work and if you're running Windows XP, Click Here (http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm) to open a Kelly's Korner page.

Then scroll down to line 117 and in the left-hand column, click on "Restore Taskbar and Start Button" to download a small .reg file.

Once you have it downloaded, run it according to the directions at the top of the Kelly's Korner page.

This is only for Windows XP.
