Thought Id have a look at what WD40 is made from exactly, cos I thought maybe I could use it on clothes to remove Bolognese stains (which are really difficult to get out unless the sun is shining and then they 'bleach' out) and found this:

Crikey!!! Had to read this a couple of times - I thought it was a typo or Id mis-read it at first. I wonder who on earth discovered that???

Mossies - had a garden full of the little blighters when I was hanging the washing out this arvo, ych-y-fi!

I always use citronella oil if it's mozzie biting time, my lot suffer terribly, but I get bitten once to their 20 or so bites. Aha, very funny beanie (just in case your going to post one of the 20 ripostes I imagine you have lined up). I've always washed bites as soon as I know they are there, then put suncream or sunblock on the bite before it starts to weep.

My lot also bought one of those little zapper gizmos a few years back and they swear by them. Unfortunately, I went through the roof when I used it - such a big jessie!

Geoff, in order to display your own avatar and not a default CTH one, you have to subscribe - clicky
at the modest sum of $5 a year.

In order to post a new topic, you need to go to the relevant forum and at the top of said forum there is a button called 'new topic' as illustrated by rockboy in
    THIS post.

You started your own topics HERE and
HERE successfully, plus you have also replied to a couple, so maybe
    I am misunderstanding your problem?

Whilst you lot have been swotting mosquitos I've been trying to figure how to put my avatar alongside a blog, also how to get my ha'porth in the 'new posts' column. Any easy explanation will do. Thanks to you all.

WD40 has over 1000 uses. Pick it up here.

The latest one in the UK papers was some bloke put it on his dodgy knees and it healed them up. I'm contemplating dropping some in my pint over at Dai's gaff to see if I can make it taste like beer

Never had a mosquito bite before! That should go into the book of very unusual, or I had thought so, anyway! They are maddening buggers!
