Computer crash problems
Often times when I am gaming (L4D2, Killing Floor) my computer would just suddenly crash. The screen turns into a mono color and makes an error-like noise for a few seconds. At this point I am unable to alt-tab or ctrl-alt-del. My only option is to push the power button and restart the computer. It doesn't happen when I'm playing sc2 or wc3, rather just FPS games. I looked it up and it may have something to do with my video card? (GTX 260). So i updated my driver but it did not help.
Additionally, my specs are : -Windows 7 ultimate 64bit (6.1 build 7600) -AMD phenom II x3 710 ~2.6 ghz -4gigs ram -Nvidia gtx 260 Last edited by Einhander; December 31st, 2010 at 03:15 AM.
