Refresh Rate?

Hi, I just bought a Samsung BX2250 LED monitor yesterday and used the DVI to HDMI cord.

My problem is that while I'm playing WoW, the screen sometimes turns black as if its turning off (power button not flickering and stays on) for about 1 sec, and then goes back to the game screen. Is it because I didnt set the game's refresh rate according to my monitor's? - this was just suggested by a friend of mine so i'm not sure...

This problem only happens when I'm playing WoW and not while I'm browsing the net on desktop. I haven't tried other games with it though...

I've already installed the software that comes with the monitor when this happened. There's an option there to make the refresh rate faster. So far I've only chosen faster and fastest, and it happened on both.. :S

My video card is Palit 9500GT 512mb ddr2 if that helps.

I was wondering if someone could enlighten me so I could return the monitor for a quick replacement.
