Unhandled exception error has occurred in your application

Hi Everyone

First post so will really try to brief and clear. I'm trying to use a prog to update some game saves and my xbox profile. The process is quite simple but each time I run it I get the above error. I've googled and much of the responses are mumbo jumbo to me but I can confirm that I have .Net 4.0.30319 installed and have tried disabling my virus software (PC tools) to no avail.

I can post the log if necessary but I'm frustrated as there are loads of You Tube vids showing this process and no hint of this problem.

I simply don't believe I'm the only one with XP using the software so it must be compatible.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Thanks for your time.

What's the name of the software?

The simplest thing to try first is to uninstall and reinstall the program giving you the trouble.

Many thanks for repsonse.

It's called 360revolution. The idea is to replace a game save with another one but the error occurs as soon as you highlight the game save on your HDD. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling but no joy.

This error occurs in other circumstances and I just wondered how other people had overcome it.
