A site I visit was hacked ???

I frequent a coupon board and it has been hacked?? It said so on screen . It looked really weird a black page with strange stuff on it, my question is my computer safe since I went there twice and saw that page.Could something have been downloaded on my computer?

I was just there this morning and it was fine.

Sounds like they had a problem, and have now fixed it perplexed.

no sorry it was fine that morning and then it wasn't later that day, can you get something on your computer just by visiting a site that has been hacked?? I just posted on vista about another issue I am having , may not be related but kinda odd it happened now.

I found out they are working on it now.

Could something have been downloaded on my computer?

Thanks, I did a scan (I have free avg) and I did a malwarebytes scan nothing found.
