I have been using a Hotmail email account as my main email for about a decade now. Normally I don't have any problems with it.
However lately, I have had a very unusual problem whereby while browsing with Firefox (the latest version, 13.0 I think it is?), it will simply tell me it cannot load the page. Not just your typical "404" page not found error, but I get a really weird search page which makes me wonder what else is going on. Please see this image to see what I am seeing: ![]() I will also get a giant long URL which is nothing like the Hotmail URL. Yikes. As far as I can tell, there's no step or anything that I "do" in order to get this to occur. I just will have a tab open for Hotmail, so I can follow my email, and I will go to refresh it and I'll get the error screen above. The only way I've found to remedy it is to close my Firefox browser completely and start again. However, that is only temporary, as it will often happen again. I have cleared my cache more than once to no avail, and I haven't had any other anomalies pop up, so I don't think it's malware, but I obviously am not sure. If someone can help me figure out what's going on, I'd appreciate it. Thanks. |

Hi again. No one has been able to hazard a guess huh?
![]() I just went up to the store and left my Firefox open for about 15 minutes. Came back, refreshed Hotmail, and I got this error again. Would love to see if someone has any thoughts after seeing this. Thank you. |
