Want to put DVD's on Kindle Fire
My family is going to be undertaking a road trip and I want to put some of the DVD's we legally and rightfully own onto my wife's Kindle Fire so the kiddos have something to watch at times. I've been trying to figure out the best way to do this on my own, but it's proving taxing and not quite working out. I downloaded a trial version of DVD shrink and have tried to use that to convert and shrink down one of the movies, however this seems to only put the file or files into an unusable format that I can't seem to do much else with. The shrink made a folder filled with .bup, .vob, and .ifo files which I have no idea what do to with in order to put a working file on the Kindle Fire. I'm pretty sure the Fire plays MP4 format. Is there not a simple way to merely rip a DVD and have it made into a single, smaller file such as mp4 to be easily transfered to the Fire via USB? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
