Unhappy winfixer2005 and winantispyware2005 popups :(

I fear the worst has happened. I run NORTON 2005, ad-aware, and spybot. Somewhere along the line, even with these tools, I have become infected with something.

Every so often, I get popups to winfixer.com and winantispyware.com. Can anyone please help. Thank you.

Hi

Please download VundoFix.zip to your desktop from http://www.atribune.org/downloads/VundoFix.zip

Double-click VundoFix.zip and extract it to your C:\ directory.

Keep all windows closed while doing this fix!

Navigate to the new folder C:\VundoFix
Double click on KillVundo.bat

When it starts it will tell you that you need to be connected to the internet .
It will then ask you to press any key once you do.
Press any key to continue.

Wait for HiJackThis to open.
When HiJackThis opens, click Do a system scan only. Place a check next to the following items, if found:

O2 - BHO: MSEvents Object - {827DC836-DD9F-4A68-A602-5812EB50A834} - C:\WINDOWS\system32\ssttr.dll
O2 - BHO: (no name) - {8E13DDE1-E013-47ec-9C4C-27C2F78BDD26} - C:\WINDOWS\system32\gebyw.dll
O16 - DPF: {AB29A544-D6B4-4E36-A1F8-D3E34FC7B00A} - http://install.wildtangent.com/bgn/...mix/install.cab
O20 - Winlogon Notify: awtqq - C:\WINDOWS\system32\awtqq.dll
O20 - Winlogon Notify: gebyw - C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\gebyw.dll
O20 - Winlogon Notify: mlljk - C:\WINDOWS\system32\mlljk.dll
O20 - Winlogon Notify: ssttr - C:\WINDOWS\system32\ssttr.dll
O20 - Winlogon Notify: vturr - C:\WINDOWS\system32\vturr.dll

Once they all have checked the items, click FIX CHECKED, then close HiJackThis.
You will be prompted to press any key. Upon doing so this time you will receive a "Blue Screen Of Death". Don't worry, this is normal! Let the computer reboot. If it doesn't boot straight to windows, manually turn the computer off and then back on.

Once the computer is rebooted please post a new HiJackThis log as well as the contents of vundofix.txt which can be found in this folder: C:\VundoFix

Download L2mfix

Save the file to your desktop and double click l2mfix.exe. Click the Install button to extract the files and follow the prompts, then open the newly added l2mfix folder on your desktop. Double click l2mfix.bat and select option #1 for Run Find Log by typing 1 and then pressing enter.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Close all open programs

From the l2mfix folder on your desktop, double click l2mfix.bat and select option #2 for Run Fix by typing 2 and then press enter, then press any key to reboot your computer. After a reboot, your desktop and icons will appear, then disappear (this is normal). L2mfix will continue to scan your computer and when it's finished, notepad will open with a log. Copy the contents of that log and paste it here, along with a new HJT log.

Download SILENT RUNNERS to a new folder,... Unzip if Zipped, and run the Silent Runners.vbs file.
Open the "Startup Programs.txt" file it creates, and copy/paste the contents to this post, please.
The "Startup Programs.txt" file will be in the folder you ran the "Silent Runners.vbs" file from.

Remove these two hightlighted keys from the registry

NOTE ::::Always back up your registry before making any changes. The easiest way to do this is to select the entry that you are going to delete with your mouse and go to File and choose Export. Call it any name that you like (selected branch should be pre-selected) and then send it to a New Folder on your Desktop as a reg file. If you have no further problems, rightclick on the New Folder and delete it. Do NOT doubleclick on a .reg file unless you want to put it back in your Registry

Ok i have done that,

I try to fix with HJT,
O20 - Winlogon Notify: gebyw - C:\WINDOWS\system32\gebyw.dll
but not sure if it did something or not, the log file shows it still there.
I am still getting the winfixer 2005 pop-up as well as the others.

Did you try to remove the entry from the log since the reg fix ?

Download finditnt2000xp.zip.
Unzip the contents of finditnt2000xp.zip to a convenient location.
Navigate to the Find It NT-2K-XP folder and double-click on find.bat.
A command prompt will open and it will search your computer for malicious files.
Once it has finished a Notepad window will pop up with output.txt.
Copy the entire contents of output.txt into your next post.
DON'T delete/modify any files yet

========================================

Download and install the trial version SpySweeper from here http://www.webroot.com/consumer/downloads . Once installed, make sure you are online and update it.

When you have done this, boot into Safe Mode (restart your PC and tap F8 as it restarts) and run Spy Sweeper. Click Sweep Now on the left side and click the Start button.

When it has finished scanning, click the Next button. Make sure everything found has a check next to it and then click the Next button. It will remove all of the items found. Next, click Session Log in the upper right corner and copy everything in that window. Click the Summary tab and click Finish. Paste the contents of the session log you copied into your next reply.
