Extremely slow computer

Running Win 7 Ultimate, today, my computer is extremely slow. I have run Housecall, it indicates no problems. any suggestions? Thanks.

One change, however. Run Disk Cleanup (or clean with CCleaner) before defragging your hard drives. It makes no sense to defrag a hard drive with potentially 1000s of tiny temporary files on the disk.
