HEVC problem

Hi Folks,
I recently d/l a large HEVC file after doing a source update and the recommended update and install I find that vlc gives a really poor image (Grey screen pixelation) I followed the recommended practices (changing cache limits) but still the problem exsts.
Any help would be appreciated thanks..

I installed libde265 and it associated gstreamer files but it made my regular .mkv files play with grey screens, pixilatation and staggers so in the meantime I have removed the libde265 plus its associates until a bug fix comes along...
