'Power-On Self Test' Memory Check

I have just added a 256MB memory module to my already existing two 128MB modules. Since doing this my Bios now checks the memory every time i switch on the computer, causing a considerable deley in the boot procedure. I have the latest Bios installed,by Ami Pro. Unfortunatly there is no option in setup to disable the memory check.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Many thanks, Matlantic :grit:

Hi Matlantic, welcome to cyber Tech Help.

Pushing the escape key should cancel the memory test.
