Digital Camera Memory card and my computer

I have searched and searched online but can't find any help, so i am hoping someone can help me here.

I have been using the same computer and memory card for the past year and all of a sudden my computer is recognizing when I input my memory card in the slot on the front. Normally it would pull up a menu so I can view my pictures, but now it doesn't pull up anything. I hate having to go to my computer then to the F drive and so on. Plus I am not able to delete my pics after I put them on the computer, which is a huge hassle. Any suggestions on how I can get the PC to recognize my memory card again?

I am using win xp and a HP computer.
