Netscape Bookmarks Lost

I had a power failure this morning and when I got back online, all of my Netscape 7.2 bookmarks had disappeared.

I know that Netscape no longer offers support, but it is still my favourite browser, and I'm hoping that the bookmarks are still somewhere on my hard drive.

I use an external hard drive and back up regularly, but when I went to look there, the only favourites they have backed up are those in Internet Explorer and Firefox.

Does anyone know how to start looking for the Netscape bookmarks?

do a search for netscape.html. That file should have all of your bookmarks

Thanks for the suggestion, but when I searched for netscape.html, it said that there was no file by that name.

Anything else you can think of?

then you no longer have your bookmarks because that is how netscape stores them.
