Neil Sedaka - Summer Symphony? I'd link to the lyrics, but most of them are popup intensive.

Is this the one you are thinking of?

A thousand stars fill the summer sky,
tonight, my love, the beach belongs to you and I.
And here we are lying in the sand,
I hear the sound of music when you touch my hand.

Just like the waves crashing on the shore,
the echo of our love will last forevermore.
Tonight, my love, hold me tight, my love,
as our hearts compose a summer symphony.

The symphony of a summer night.
The echo of our love will last forevermore.

But when morning comes and you go away,
I'll close my eyes and I'll still hear the music play.
The symphony of a summer night
will last until the end of time.
The symphony of a summer night.

Nah, that was Jimi Hendrix, Band Of Gypsies. Jimi always liked Neil Sedaka stuff.

Sorry thats not the song. The song is probably a latest song of the 2011 or 2012. Kind of techno or hip hop. I do remember 'jason' as one of the words in the song.

Jintan may be right, although "Jason" is not in this song.

What music station? Might be an independent artist and their stuff may not be online (yet). When I hear new songs on christianrock.net or christianindustrial. net, I try and look up lyrics of some good songs but can not find them. Sometimes just too minor to the rest of the world to be posted on a hundred sites. I remember this when looking up songs by Flyleaf, but now they are mainstream.

Have you tried contacting the music station/site?

Okay, I did download it and will just go ahead and disqualify myself from this one right off. Sure can tell why you mention "you touched my hand" as what you recall. Had to been said about 30 times just in that clip.

Pretty sure the lyric snippets you hear are just samples of other songs (could easily be from any of the prior suggestions).
The female vocal sample certainly sounds like 60's soul (Aretha?).

It's not by any of the dance DJs/remixers that I listen to.

I've been in this situation and I've called the station to find out. If you can give then the exact time and date they can check their logging database and tell you all the details they have. I called in at the station one time and actually watched them do it, the log also records an MP3 version of the station output so it is possible to listen to it to check that the details they are providing match the song you are enquiring about.
