What’s the last movie you watched and was it good?
I watched the vow lastly, the movie was so romantic and heart breaking.

Interesting topic, it never ceases to amaze me the silly things that SPAMMERS will come up with to get some free advertising for their SPAM.

Why on earth don't you just sign up to Google context related adds and have a small banner placed on any search result where someone was actually looking for something related to what you are trying to advertise?

What makes you think that someone who is visiting a computer forum is the slightest bit interested in buying real estate on the other side of the world?

I think the Cool Axe Man should get the chop, I guess you will soon.

Alright, look, I started 3 threads similar to this one on a few years ago another board, and my "What was the last DVD you saw?" thread became very popular. I wasn't advertising anything, and there was no spamming going on. It was just a simple curiosity thread, nothing more.

Now, the last 3 movies I saw were:
  • Friends With Benefits
  • The Breakfast Club (I wanted to see the movie that The Breakfast Bunch was based on.)
  • Transformers: Dark Of The Moon

My last three and very best movies I ever saw were The Girl with the dragon tattoo (original and subbed) trilogy.

CoolAxeMan had spam for "Marbella Real Estate" which was removed when I banned the account. Ned saw it but no-one else did.

I know that. I'm merely tryin' to explain to the ol' man the difference 'tween spam, and curiosity threads. There are a lot of forum boards out there that have these, and Ned's gotta realize that with two forums called Open Discussion and The Anything Else Board, curiosity threads are an inevitability.


I also think banning CoolAxeMan for MRE thread (which was apparently here B4 I joined) was a good decision, but deleting this thread cuz a known spammer started it would be wrong.

Yeah, advertising real estate on a site like this one is clearly spam. However, I don't think posting the name of a movie you watched falls under the category of advertisement.

I watched Silver Streak with Gene Wilder and Richard Pryor and, as many times as I've seen that movie, I loved it all over again!
