Go to Control Panel - User Accounts - Change the way users log on or off. Are those options checked off, grayed out etc.?

That works correctly. The issue is getting to the correct log on screen. If I let it boot normally, I get two old user accounts. To get to the current user accounts that we currently use, we tap F12 and select "boot from primary drive." So, I suppose it's booting from the secondary drive if I do not override it with F12

I once tried to change the boot sequence but decided to leave it alone, especially since the disk is long gone.At worst, it's a minor inconvenience.

E is the original drive. I added a second HD which is what is used now.

Yes, but what is on the E drive - another operating system? And what is it used for now? If you disconnect the drive cable from the E drive and boot the system, I am assuming this wrong user login issue would not occur?

Yes. There is an OS. I'm not really interested in unplugging it. It's mot that big a deal. Are we done with the cleanup? The machine seems fine.

You've likely got a boot loader issue, with the sequence of each Windows install being picked up incorrectly. I'll just mention that if you ask on that in the CTH Hardware forum, someone there will likely assist you in correcting that.

All our attention so far has been on the tougher malicious stuff, but the earlier logs did show some adware also installed, and we would normally also run some additional scan to ensure all garbage has been removed. We do that, or do you just want to close things out here now?

Very good. Let's get a current look then go from there.

Download HijackThis from Here. Then click on the downloaded file, and install HijackThis.

In HijackThis, click Config - Misc Tools - Open Uninstall Manager.

Click on Save List, then save that to a location you can locate again (such as the desktop). Copy/paste the contents of that back here please.

Go to Start – Settings – Control Panel. Click on Add/Remove Programs. If any of the following programs are listed there, click on the program to highlight it, and click on Remove (in the following sequence please). Then close the Control Panel.

eBay Toolbar Featuring Yahoo! - Likely something to try and redirect your web searches. Uninstall if you do not use it.
Free File Opener - Freeze.com/W3i adware, spyware, search hijacker.
InstallIQ Updater - Freeze.com/W3i adware, spyware, search hijacker.
NetAssistant - Freeze.com/W3i adware, spyware, search hijacker.
Yahoo! Software Update - Resource waste, if you do not use it.
Yahoo! Toolbar - Resource waste, if you do not use it.

Reboot, then before we consider some final cleaning up steps, post back how things are running please.

Uninstalled all except for NetAssistant which does not show from either Control Panel or Revo Uninstaller list

Open Hijackthis.

Click Config - Misc Tools - Open Uninstall Manager again.
A list of the entries in Add/Remove programs will appear.

Click to hilight NetAssistant, then to the right, click "Edit uninstall command", and right click, copy that uninstall command. Then go to Start - Run, right click Paste, the click OK.

That should run the uninstaller, if the file and install log are still there.

If nothing happens, or you get an error something cannot be found, then just go back to HijackThis - Config - Misc Tools - Open Uninstall Manager, click to hilight NetAssistant, then click Delete the entry. That will removed the orphaned install item. Close HijackThis.

Then reboot, and post back on any issues we still have to address please.

That zapped the NetAssistant.

As far as how it's running, I don't use this one. But a brief test drive feels like it's running well, considering its age and power.
