Welcome to CTH, nickj!

Each case is somewhat different, so, it does not matter if others had the SearchQu issue.

Let's see what we can find with the following...

Please download OTL from: Here
  • Save it to the Desktop.
  • OTL is does not need to be installed, simply click OTL.exe to run the program.
  • Click the Scan All Users checkbox.
  • Press the Run Scan button.
  • Two reports appear:
    • OTL.txt <-- Opened on the Desktop
    • Extra.txt <-- Minimized on the TaskBar

Please post (do not attach) the OTL.txt and Extra.txt reports in your reply.

Also, which browser(s) do you use..Internet Explorer, FireFox, Chrome, any other?

Hi,
the OTL report is coming out at over 52,000 characters. Which bits can I leave out so I can send it to you are do you want it in 2 parts?

nickj,

If OTL exceeds the number of characters post limit, please split it between a couple of replies.

Thanks!
