Exclamation Caps/Num Lock M.I.A.

Hi all

A while ago my caps lock and number lock icons disappeared from the taskbar.

Im wondering if there is a way to get them back. Its surprisingly annoying not knowing if caps/num lock is on or off.

Thanks guys

Iggy

You should be able to tell by the lights on the right of your keyboard.

Hi Pancake

If I had lights on the side of my keyboard Im sure Id be able to tell if caps /num lock were on but there isnt any lights. Must be a new feature on these modern keyboards.

Thanx anyway

try a different keyboard, maybe the one you have is going bad and sending the wrong signal.

You can also try restoring your computer to a previous restore point to when the icons were working.

If neither helps, please give the brand and model of your keyboard.

Have you checked Keyboard Properties in the Control Panel?

Exclamation Caps/ Num Lock

Hi there

Its a Packard Bell keyboard, model number - 9203

I have been into control panel > keyboard > active board tab - the taskbar icons are selected.

Thanks
