Indexing Service Filter Daemon

Hi,
Recently i have been getting this error message while working on my Windows xp pro. "Indexing Service Filter Daemon Failure" and it keeps coming up every 2/5 minutes.... it is damn irritating... have tried the option of sending to microsoft as well as not sending it to microsoft.... how can i stop this from re-occuring. the file name is cidaemon.exe it is generally found in the Windows\system32 folder...

The error message mentions the file name as cidaemon.exe.mdmp

Pls reply asap.

Try stopping and then restarting the indexing service on your PC (Click Start, right-click My Computer and select Manage... then Services and Applications / Services) or if it still gives you an error try switching off the indexing as it's not massively useful unless you do loads of file searching on your system - go to this link to find out how http://www.tweakxp.com/tweak545.aspx
